A TINT-based library is a library of tracks stored using TINT-based filing https://tango.info/wiki/User:Chrisjjj/TINT-based_filing .

If you are using such a library for milonga DJing, you'll probably find it beneficial to include your curtains in this library. A procedure for doing this follows. It applies to MediaMonkey V4.1.3.1708 and hopefully subsequent versions. It assumes the audio file format of your library is WMA Lossless.

1) Obtain a CASTIN (a standard identifier for a personal album) from Tobias or Chris. This will be the TIN identifying your own custom curtains album.

2) Put all curtain source tracks in an empty folder named e.g. 'curtain sources', and located outside your library folder. You will use this to retain the sources in case you want to resection them in future.

3) For each track you require in multiple sections, use an audio editor to remove the audio from track start to each section start, retaining the audio to track end, and save under a name suffixed with " #n" where n is the section number e.g. Amy Winehouse - Back To Black #1 .

4) Drag the sources folder to the MediaMonkey player bar, to place those tracks in emptied Now Playing [1] .

5) In Now Playing, enable the Filename column [2] and click Filename to sort the tracks into name and #n order [3], then make any required order adjustment manually by dragging. Select all tracks [4] .

6) Click Tools, Convert Format..., and in the dialog box, make these six settings [5] with Destination being S:\TLIB\02480002900001\1\<Auto Number> having S:\TLIB replaced, and 02480002900001 replaced with your CASTIN. Click OK and wait for the progress bar at bottom to complete.

Your curtain tracks are now in the correct audio file format, in the library folder, and in the library database.

7) Search for your CASTIN [6] to find your curtains [7]

8) Select all curtain tracks [8] and right-click Properties. Set the following five properties [9] substituting your name for Jane, and click OK.

9) At the Track # column, enable the Filename column [10] and for each track, copy the number from Filename to Track #, omitting leading zeros: [11]

10) Make any necessary corrections to Title and Artist [12] and for section tracks, enable and click Filename column, then suffix Title with #n [13]

Your curtains are now correctly labelled. To access them when DJing or preparing a list, search for e.g. "Jane Curtains".

To add a second batch of curtains, use the same procedure but at 6) replace Destination \1\ by \2\ and Disc # 1 by 2.
