... my book with Lefcovich’s discography of Francisco Canaro shows the edition date 1993. In this discography the mentioned recording date of “Mentir en amor es pecado”, with the vocalist Carlos Galán, is 14.11.1934. There is no version with Charlo in this discography, nevertheless I have a version taked from the LP EMI ODEON 5296, side B, track 5, edited in 1987, where the label of the disc shows the legend “Charlo/Francisco Canaro, Charlo (Intérprete) con la Orquesta de Francisco Canaro - Original 1928”.
