A tango.info performance name is a name provided by tango.info instead of a track name. The latter is also often called track title.
The performance can differ from the tango.info work name.
The performance name is:
- the name found on the first publication, if known to tango.info.
- this may often be an 78 rpm label
- else - the name on the publication known to tango.info and believed to be the oldest
