Top Foto Corporation (Tongan, Fujian, China) today announced having found a way to match faces in different images. "When we have an image which is connected with a persons name, we call that a True-Face-Connection (TFC), we can detect this persons face in other images." said spokeswoman Ti Fu Cha. "Our customers will no longer need to rely on Correct-Face-Tagging (CFT) in photographs. This tagging is worth less, since it can too easily be faked, and confuse the algorithms. Finding images via TFC on the other hand is quite robust."

Especially worthy is that feature for institutions that have high quality TFCs, like employers, health organisations and governement agencies, which often require people to provide a good photograph of themselves. "With a single click these institutions will be able to find where you tangoed last night", Ti added with a smile. "They may also see a list of all your dancepartners and together with True-Feeling-Cognition which we developped last month, they will see what you felt while dancing. And you yourself can see what your partner felt."

"There are only two problems for us to massivly sell the product. The first problem: we need more people to make photographs of others and publish them. We need these photo agents that work at no cost for us, otherwise the system will not work. Features in social networking services that allow people to remove their own names from tags help a lot - people then feel save and let the photographs itself stay. The second problem: There are people on images whos faces cannot be seen, like in certain types of Argentine Tango. From the shape of the body we can detect the persons name, but the feelings are almost hidden to us. We don't know how to solve this."
