2007-07-30 report by Ramiro regarding FLAC and Ipod
Unless it's changed in recent releases, rockbock IPod support for .flac is problematic. You can't 'seek' inside a file. I sometimes want to hear a particular section of music again, and the FF and REW functions don't work. You can only skip to the next file, or the previous file.
This may not matter for DJing, but it was enough for me to give up on .flac on my rockbox/Ipod
