Roxina Villegas and Adrian Griffero, both from Buenos Aires, are specialised in rhythmic styles of tango, such as tango canyengue and milonga. They are leading representatives of the recent 'tango roots' movement, popular with the new generation of Argentinian tangueros who combine the relaxed attitude of contemporary tango with the close embrace and intimacy of the original roots styles.

Roxina and Adrian have performed in the most famous Buenos Aires tango salons and both taught for years at the Escuela Argentina de Tango. They now work more outside of Argentina than at home, but return regularly to teach every March at the annual international festival of tango roots CaMiCando (Tango Canyengue, Milonga, Candombe).
