By the end of 2001, after studying music in New York, Martín Delgado returns to Argentina with the idea of experimenting in the fusion of electronic music, tango and jazz. With this in mind, he forms San Telmo Lounge together with Pablo Gaitán in bandoneon, Lucas Polichiso in keyboards and Maximiliano Natalutti in violin. In September 2003, they successfully launch their first EP "McDougall Tango" whose launching positioned them in the national and international musical scene, like references of this increasing tendency called electronic tango. In their second launch: "Madrugada Backcelonia" (2005), they reassert the countless possibilities that tango has to feed itself from different genres like electronic music, jazz, and even rock. Today, with the definitive inclusion of Lucas Polichiso in keyboards and Maxi Nattalutti in violin, they have performed in important events like VII the Buenos Aires Festival Tango, Series at Notorius CD Bar, Evento Código País (Bs As), Hard Rock Café (Bs As), Chacarerean Teatre (Bs As), CC Torcuato Tasso (Bs As) and different places of the milongas circuit in Buenos Aires and the rest of the country. By mid October 2007 they publish their third work "ELECTROCARDIOTANGO". This material shows a turn towards the format of the instrumental song, reasserting the adjustment richness of their previous works and incorporating the voices of Lidia Borda and Sandra Corizzo, as guest artists. This material published by Epsa Music continues to propose the fusion of tango with different subgenres from the "rock" and the electronics, showing a great composition and performance soundness and receiving the praises of the specialized press and the public in general.
