CASTIN stands for Code Agreement Special TIN.

A special TIN code agreement is an agreement between tango.info and an authorised party allowing that party to assign Special TINs.

A TIN assigned under such an agreement is called a Code Agreement Special TIN or CASTIN.

CASTINs are of the form:

024800029jkm2n

where

jkm are unique and are chosen by tango.info and the code agreeement third party
n is the TIN checkdigit

j was chosen by tango.info and kl can be chosen by the third party
