Giggio was born in [[Santiago]] de Chile, during one of his parents’ frequent Latin-American tours. They are both artists performing jazz, tango, and bossa. He lived in Argentina until he was six and his family moved to Brazil, where he started his studies in tango at the age of 14. A few months later, he became Norberto “Pulpo” Ezebres’ disciple, with whom he started to work as an instructor. The common lack of tango references in Brazil took him back to Buenos Aires to look for some fresh material. There he became a part of CETA (Center of Experimental Tango Art), where he among other innovating dancers of his generation created one of the first electronic tango shows “Resureccion Urbana.” (http://tangofestivalberlin.de/2007/?eng=giggio_marina)

Giggio Giovanni y Marina Marques

deu
