The 20 CDs of Coleccion Almagro are said to be the same as the first 20 of La fiesta del cuarenta.
In 2005 someone in tangoDJ wrote: " Fiesta del Cuarenta appears to be a 20 disc bootleg collection The first 10 discs of Fiesta del Cuarenta appear to have exactly the same content as the 10 discs that make up the Almagro collection."

To clarify the status between the Almagro collection and Fiesta del Cuarenta. The 10 discs in the Almagro Collection are sold by the Tango Catalogue (not found on http://store.thetangocatalogue.com 2009-11-28 Chrisjjj) as legal product. Fiesta del Cuarenta appears to be a 20 disc bootleg collection The first 10 discs of Fiesta del Cuarenta appear to have exactly the same content as the 10 discs that make up the Almagro collection.
