MILONGA & WALTZ WORKSHOPS

Saturday 6 June - two open level workshops for all!


13.00 – 15.00 Milonga – All Levels – This workshop will concentrate on milonga and we will be looking rhythmical patterns & variations, and the different types of milonga: including milonga lisa & milonga con traspie, milonga campera & milonga candombe. We will discover the differing orchestras, connection in the couple & circulation on the dance floor.


15.15 – 17.15 Waltz – All Levels – Sometimes also known as ‘vals cruzado’ or ‘vals criollo’ we will begin by understanding the basic musical structure: question and response, syncopation and rhythmical patterns particular to waltz. We will also have a focus on sequences changing between open & close embrace.


Cost: One workshop 25 E / 20 E Reduced - Both Workshops 40 E/ 35 Reduced
