Hofman Café in Utrecht will stop providing space for the regular Tuesday evening milongas by 2009. This event was organised almost 700 times in a row by tango school Tango El Gancho.

Several events will be organised in December 2008 to say goodbye to 'the Hofman era' in a respectable way.

On December 9th, 2008, the Trio Tincho will give a live performance as a contribution to the Fiestas Tristes.
