Tango activities started in Aix-en-Provence slightly later than in Marseille in early 1990's. In September 2008, two associations have some activities in Aix:

• Tango Del Sur
• El Compadrito

The summer milonga "Place Richelme" created in 2001 by Guy W. on every Friday night, has been moved in 2005 on every Sunday night by Daniel A. and Benoit de Gentile.
