Tango Experience Berlin Festival komplett abgesagt Der Festivalleiter Frank Eggers erklärt hiermit die Tango Experience Berlin als offiziell abgesagt. Das Festival, das gestern Abend mit einer Gala im Roten Rathaus eröffnet werden sollte, hatte seit Donnerstagmorgen mit unerwarteten Problemen zu kämpfen. Unstimmigkeiten zwischen dem Veranstalter und einem wichtigen Veranstaltungsort der Tango Experience – führten dazu, dass das Festival nicht wie geplant stattfinden konnte. Alternativen wurden gesucht, konnten in der Kürze der Zeit jedoch nicht mehr realisiert werden. Auch das Tango Konzert der Berliner Symphoniker am Samstag, den 24. August auf dem Schinkelplatz wird nicht mehr stattfinden. Frank Eggers.

Deeply moved by the amount of understanding received from the teachers whom have been hit so hard the last days. Also really proud on the effort the core team of EX TeB is undertaking to make most of the situation. Which is Rixdorf alive and kicking tonight with lots of DJs and several of the teachers. Special thanks to Daniel Puschmann for his strength in those difficult times. Frank

An alle Gäste und Freunde der Experience, ich untröstlich über die derzeitige Situation. All der Zuspruch und all die Unterstützung der letzten 2 Jahre sind auf einen Schlag zu nichte gemacht und unwiederbringlich verloren. Es tut mir unendlich Leid für alle Gäste und für alle Helfer, welche mit viel Einsatz für die Vision von einer neuen Art von Tango Festival gekämpft haben. hiermit entschuldige ich mich aufrichtig bei allen, welche hierdurch Schäden und Enttäuschung zu erleiden haben. Dear Experience Guests, the Experience has been pressured to either take expensive actions, or to submit to accepting much higher services fees, as originally agreed on by contract. This continues struggle had major impact on the flow of organizing the Experience, as well as its financial standing. The company organizing the Experience had to file bankruptcy today. In the blink of an eye, a dream can turn nightmare. All I ever wanted with TeB was to gather amazing artists and try new ideas and concepts. For this I have dedicated my last to years. Deeply regretting that the vision came to fall so closely to becoming reality. And in that fall so many innocent people have to suffer the consequences of my failure. Frank

Leider gibt es keinen einzigen Grund alleine. Und einer der Hauptgründe (aus meiner Sicht heraus), könnte ohne juristische Begleitung mich noch zusätzlich angreifbar machen. Tut mir Leid, dass ich daher nichts genaueres zu diesem Zeitpunkt veröffentlichen kann.

700 people at Rixdorf yesterday night! I failed the Experience as a festival manager. But the Experience didn't fail to bring people from all over the world concetrated together in Berlin in one moment, in what must have been an incredible night at Rixdorf!

Dear Milos, you are free to post whatever you like. I know you are disapointed and you have every right to be angry. I was the organizer, and for that I will have to take the heat. But I also hope you can understand, that I will not take just any kind of "criminal offense" accusation. Also in case of e.g. Cantango Berlin, I was asked to remove their comments.

As the event company has filed for insolvency, the best advise I can give you is to state your claim to contact@tangoexperience.org . All claims will be collected and given to the court dealing with the insolvency. Regards, Frank Eggers

On the "bad" company figures: Since the Company is a legal entity, money given by the owners beyond the signing capital are/can be treated as "liabilities" in the balance sheet of the company. Which here is/was the dominat case.

You all have a right to angry. I am just having a problem with people who say that Frank disappointed anyone of you on purpose. He did not betray and lost more we all together.

Now I am waiting for someone to claim that he actually really is an extraterrestrial feeding on the anger of human tango dancers. Wow! All venues where either completely or almost completely paid. The same holds for the flights. And the hotel. And the catering. If I wanted steel money, I had taken all invest and sponsor money, not below a million though, paid nothing and varnished to an emerging country outside Europe. Shall we go on with these kind of speculations?

- Leonhard Jaschke: Excuse me, I am just an outsider. But if I read "higher service fees as originally agreed on by contract" with the consequence of denying these services (that were certainly in the contract) on very short notice (festival had literally started), the conclusion for me is not that Frank has acted carelessly or even is a betrayer. die Morgenpost sagt was von "Parkett im Roten Rathaus" war scheinbar nicht ok - Rotes rathaus weist es ab; veranstalter sagt scheinbar CAFE MOSKAU wollte ploetzlich wesentlich mehr als vertraglich vereinabrt (rumor says 20.000?) - ich persoenlich habe mit der leiterin des CAFE MOSKAU fuer ca 1 Stunde geredet, sie weist das als glatte Erfindung zurueck - dass sie sogar wollte dass es weitergeht und nicht das CAFE MOSKAU kuendigte sondern der Veranstalter.
