-A different aproach to Tango
-The dynamics of fluids (ascending and descending spirals round an axis) is the guiding image for the circulation of movement and energy within the dancing couple. This concept will be developed in three sections:
-The body as a channel: we will use elements of TaiChi and Contact Improvisation to facilitate the embodiment of the Tango way and colour of movement. It will help in the development of grounding and sensorial kinesis and to approach tango in a more intuitive and sensorial way
-The embrace: different kinds of embrace to facilitate different kinds of circulation and relations.
-Voleos y colgadas as a development of a type of embrace and a type of design in the "external" space.
-Für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene.
-Javier Cura is an argentine american multidisciplinary artist. He has dedicated himself to the Fine Arts creating several art exhibitions of objects, sculptures and installations(BsAs Museum of Fine Arts). He has performed, directed and created drama shows in Argentina , Colombia , USA , Italy and Indonesia . He's been teaching drama, physical theatre and Contact Impro in England , Italy , France , Germany and Argentina . He's been invited to teach and perform in the International Contact Improvisation Festivals in Orvieto(It) and Freiburg (Ger). His last piece that merges tango and contactimpro in a physical theatre context was presented in Prague 's Dance Theatre "Farma Festival".
