Milonga and Waltz Workshops with Liesl and Federico
Saturday 7th November 2009
13.00 – 14.45 Uhr – Milonga - Open to all levels
We will be looking at the different rhythmical patterns & influences present in milonga, and use them to make playful sequences.
In particular we will be working with the orchestras of: Edgardo Donato , Francisco Canaro & Miguel Calo
15.15 – 17.00 Uhr – Waltz - Open to all levels
Finding and exploring the differences between the waltz criollo (traditional argentine waltz) and its influence from the European waltz. Playing with sequences, musicality and change of embrace.
Orchestras we will be using: Ricardo Tanturi, Rudolfo Biaggi and some alternative tango waltzes.
Cost: One workshop 25 E / 20 E Reduced - Both Workshops 40 E/ 35 Reduced
