- renamed Template:tangosite to Template:venue
- variables that are not filled can be hidden from display
- wikipedia (WP) does this, but the wiki syntax can look very complicated for such stuff
- currently the page Tangoloft Berlin looks a little bit strange ;-)
- variables from the template can be used with DPL
- coordinates should be added, preferably as two variables and in decimal notation
- coor_ns, coor_ew OR coor_lat, coor_long (I allways forget which is lat and which is long)
- the unlocode could be put into a vaiable, so we don't need category:FRXYZ anymore on each page. same with department. maybe we can later drop category:TangoSud explicitly because via the departments we know which are relevent to tangoSud
How to use this template
- There is a How-To available in TangoSud Project to explain how to use the Template.venue (the template fields in a venue wiki page must filled in).
- There is no direct link between TangoSud and the geography: some cities of the area may not be desribed in TangoSud. Unless no better way, it seems preferable to keep the TangoSud category.
- An other idea is to replace TangoSud by something else less restrictive to a geographical area.
